» Can Sugar Substitutes Make You Fat?
Turns out that we may eat and/or absorb more calories when we eat artificially-sweetened food than when we eat naturally-sweetened food (i.e., sugar). That’s what happened with animals, anyway. No one’s ready to recommend banning artificial sweeteners from our diets entirely, but it’s worth remembering that diet soda may not be entirely “healthy”.
