Topshop stores in Singapore pulled a line of “Looking Good for Jesus” cosmetics after receiving complaints from Roman Catholic shoppers. Products pulled included “Get Tight with Christ” hand and body cream and “virtuous vanilla”-flavored lip balm.
Turns out the 675,000 Christians were less than thrilled with the trivialization and sexualization of their Lord and savior. A spokesman for the manufacturer (not Topshop) apologized for any offense to the Christian community.
