Batting 1.000 here
Just a reminder that no one should ever listen to any predictions I make about the election.
Clinton’s been making a push in Virginia over the last week, though, so I’m a bit skeptical of the polls there. I don’t doubt that Obama will walk away with the win, but I’m not convinced his margins will be as large as some are predicting.
And my Wisconsin/Hawaii prediction:
In Wisonsin, an ARG poll last week still had Clinton up 50 to 41. A PPP poll from yesterday basically reversed that, giving Wisconsin to Obama by a margin of 50 to 39. I imagine Obama will take the state, but I’m guessing it will only be a 5-7% margin. On it’s own, that would obviously feed into the Obama momentum storyline, but I think Hawaii will change that. I think Obama might actually lose his birth-state.
For the record, Obama won Virgina by 29 points, Wisconsin by 17, and Hawaii by 52. Ouch.
Update: It must be a Matt thing.
